UN Food Security and Nutrition 2022 report finds that 22.5% of the Latin America and the Caribbean population cannot afford a healthy diet“.


Did you know that by 2050, we’ll need to produce 70% more food to feed an estimated world population of 10 billion? As it currently stands, our agricultural system cannot sustainably feed that many people, most of whom will be living in urban areas. To feed the future, farming needs to aim higher.

High Import Needs Post Pandemic Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, and Suriname – have experienced food price increases higher than 5 percent every month between March 2021-202 due to increase in import fees on food commodities.
